It is our desire to provide an extensive range of quality jewellery at competitive prices. Due to the large number of Pilgrim jewellery pieces it is impossible to feature all items on our website. (The COLOUR WAYS for each range can be viewed by looking in the 'Necklaces' section) By simply emailing a code or description we may be able to complete your order from our back up stock which includes old and new lines.
We are constantly receiving deliveries from Pilgrim, so keep looking if the item of jewellery you require is not available today or email us for more information. Pilgrim Jewellery Materials
Jewellery
PILGRIM jewellery is primarily made of tin or zinc alloyed with copper, and then plated with either enamel, 22 carat gold or sterling silver. The stones we use include swarovski crystal, semi-precious stones and glass. We also use natural and freshwater pearls. All our jewellery is 100% nickel-free and each item is individually hand-made.
Sunglasses and Eyewear
PILGRIM eyewear is manufactured in accordance with our own high standards. Every single pair involves 4-6 hours of manual craftsmanship, evident in their polished finish and the fit between temple and frames. The sunglasses fulfil all applicable requirements in the EU and US for lenses and UV400 protection.
Watches
PILGRIM uses only the best Japanese and Swiss quartz movements. The back cases are made from stainless steel and the straps from either the same or leather. We use Swarovski crystals or real diamonds for decoration and mineral glass faces for durability.
Wear and tear of jewellery
Many factors influence the wear and tear of jewellery. The factors may include: Sweat, perfume, hairspray, alcohol and medicine consumption, body imbalance, stress, air pollution and others. These factors provoke a chemical reaction in the metal, which can be seen in the form of oxidizing. All gold and silver oxidize, and because PILGRIM jewellery is plated with genuine gold and silver, it will oxidize over time, i.e. become darker.
The oxidizing may be transferred to the skin. If you experience a change in the above factors, the transference will likely disappear. As a result, you can often wear the jewellery at a later time, without the transference.
Clean your PILGRIM jewellery using a polishing cloth, which contains a polishing agent. Crystal stones and leather cannot tolerate any form of chemicals. We recommend that you clean your jewellery after use if it has been in contact with chlorine, perfume, hairspray, or sweat.
It is recommended not to sleep, shower/bathe or participate in sport while wearing jewellery.
